Role Description The Wedding Decor Designer is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai. This position is responsible for conceptualizing and designing wedding decor themes, layouts, and visual experiences that align with client preferences and venue characteristics. Day-to-day tasks include space planning, selecting decor elements and materials, preparing layout plans and sketches, coordinating with vendors and suppliers, and overseeing installation and breakdown of decor on event days. The role also involves collaborating with planners, venue teams, and technical staff to ensure decor is executed safely, on schedule, and within budget, while maintaining the aesthetic standards of Believe Weddings.




Qualifications

- Candidates should possess skills in Space Planning and Interior Design to create functional, visually appealing layouts for wedding venues.
- Candidates should possess skills in Architecture and Construction Drawings to interpret structural limitations and develop accurate decor plans.
- Candidates should possess skills in FF&E; (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment) selection to curate cohesive decor elements and materials.
- Strong visual design sense, creativity, and attention to detail in event or interior decor.
- Ability to work in office during setup, event execution, and dismantling, often on evenings and weekends as required.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for coordinating with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
- Proficiency with design tools or software (e.g., CAD, SketchUp, or similar) is an advantage.
- Prior experience in wedding decor, event design, or interior design is preferred; relevant education in design, architecture, or a related field is beneficial.
