Role Description The Academic Counsellor will work full-time on-site at the Bhopal office, supporting students in making informed academic and career decisions. Daily responsibilities include conducting one-on-one and group counseling sessions, explaining educational pathways in India and abroad, and guiding students through course, university, and country selection based on their interests and academic background. The role involves providing structured academic advising, helping learners understand licensing exam requirements,



and coordinating with internal teams to align counseling with available programs in medicine, engineering, finance, and language learning. The Academic Counsellor will also maintain accurate student records, follow up with prospective learners, deliver presentations or webinars, and contribute to outreach activities that promote MOXSH's offerings.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Student Counseling and Career Counseling skills to guide learners through academic and qualified choices.
- Candidates should possess clear and effective Communication skills, including active listening, presentation, and interpersonal abilities.
- Candidates should possess Academic Advising and Education-related skills to interpret curricula, admission requirements, and licensing pathways.
- Relevant experience in academic counseling, career services, or education consulting, preferably with exposure to overseas education.
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field; a master's degree or formal counseling certification is an advantage.
- Ability to work with diverse student backgrounds, handle multiple cases simultaneously, and use basic digital tools and CRM systems.
- Strong ethical standards, student-centric approach, and willingness to stay updated on global education trends and admission processes.
