About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Workday Functional Consultant with 8–11 years of strong experience in Workday HRMS to support our client in a remote, part-time capacity.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on expertise in Advanced Compensation, Compensation, Time Management, and Absence Management, along with strong knowledge of Workday business processes, configuration, testing, and production support.

The candidate must be comfortable working during 6:00 PM – 3:00 AM IST to support stakeholders and teams operating in the PST time zone.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide functional support and configuration expertise across Workday HRMS modules, including:

- Advanced Compensation

- Compensation

- Time Management

- Absence Management

- Understand business requirements and translate them into effective Workday functional solutions.

- Collaborate with HR, IT, business stakeholders, and other functional teams to deliver Workday enhancements.

- Perform Workday configuration, testing, validation, and deployment of system changes.

- Troubleshoot functional issues and provide timely resolution for production and business-process-related issues.

- Analyze existing business processes and recommend appropriate Workday solutions.

- Support Workday releases, enhancements, fixes, and change requests.

- Prepare and execute test scenarios, including functional and regression testing.





- Provide guidance, documentation, and training to HR teams and end users when required.

- Ensure Workday configurations and processes follow applicable data security, privacy, and organizational standards.

- Participate in meetings and provide support aligned with PST working hours.

- Manage multiple priorities independently in a remote working environment.

Preferred Experience

- Experience working directly with US-based clients or HR/IT teams.

- Experience in Workday production support and incident resolution.

- Exposure to Workday release management and system enhancements.

- Experience in requirements gathering, functional documentation, and user acceptance testing.

Requirements

Required Skills & Qualifications

- 8–11 years of overall experience with strong hands-on experience in Workday HRMS.

- Strong functional expertise in:

- Workday Advanced Compensation

- Workday Compensation

- Workday Time Management

- Workday Absence Management

- Robust understanding of Workday business processes, configuration, and functional troubleshooting.

- Good knowledge of Workday reporting and data-related processes.

- Experience in Workday implementation, enhancement, and production support.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

- Ability to work independently and effectively in a remote environment.

- Prior experience supporting clients or teams operating in the PST time zone is preferred.

- Immediate joiner availability is mandatory.
