Job Description
Role & responsibilities
- Conduct investigations and reviews related to financial crime, fraud, sanctions, anti-money laundering (AML) and compliance-related activities.
- Analyze customer transactions, alerts and account activities to identify potential fraud and financial crime risks.
- Perform due diligence reviews and risk assessments in accordance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Identify, escalate and document suspicious activities for further investigation and reporting.
- Support fraud prevention initiatives by identifying emerging risks, trends and control gaps.
Qualifications
Preferred candidate profile
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Commerce, Business Administration, Economics, Law, Risk Management or a related field.
(This role is not suited for candidates from a technical background)
- Relevant experience in Financial Crime Compliance, AML, KYC, Fraud Risk Management, Regulatory Compliance or Financial Services Operations.
- Solid understanding of financial crime risks, fraud typologies, and regulatory frameworks. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable with US shifts.
