Java Backend Developer

Summary
We are seeking an experienced Java Backend Developer to join our IT Services team, where you will play a pivotal role in designing, building, and maintaining robust server-side applications. This position is critical for ensuring the scalability, performance, and reliability of our microservices architecture. The successful candidate will leverage deep expertise in core Java and contemporary frameworks to deliver high-quality solutions that drive business objectives forward. With a requirement for over seven years of professional experience, this role demands a strategic thinker capable of navigating complex technical challenges while adhering to agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

- Architect and develop scalable backend services using Spring Boot and microservices patterns.

- Design and optimize database schemas and queries for relational databases using SQL.

- Implement data persistence layers utilizing Hibernate and JPA frameworks.

- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs to facilitate seamless communication between systems.

- Write comprehensive unit tests to ensure code quality and minimize production defects.

- Manage version control workflows and collaborate on code reviews using Git.





- Apply software design patterns to create maintainable and efficient code structures.

- Handle concurrent processing and performance tuning through advanced multithreading techniques.

- Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies to support iterative development cycles.

- Troubleshoot and resolve backend issues to maintain system stability and uptime.

Requirements Requirements:

- Minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in Java backend development.

- Proficiency in Core Java, including a strong understanding of multithreading and concurrency.

- Extensive experience with the Spring Boot framework and its ecosystem.

- Deep knowledge of Hibernate and JPA for object-relational mapping.

- Strong command of SQL and relational database management systems.

- Proven track record in building and consuming RESTful APIs.

- Expertise in microservices architecture and design principles.

- Solid understanding of version control systems, specifically Git.

- Ability to write effective unit tests and follow Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices.

- Familiarity with Agile and Scrum project management methodologies.

- Competence in applying standard software design patterns to solve complex problems.
