AUM – Associate Director

Summary
We are seeking an experienced AUM – Associate Director to lead strategic initiatives in Data Governance and Data Operations within our Mumbai office. This pivotal role demands a seasoned professional with over a decade of expertise to oversee the integrity, availability, and security of our critical data assets. The successful candidate will drive the implementation of robust Master Data Management and Metadata Management frameworks, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and regulatory standards while fostering a culture of data excellence across the enterprise.
Responsibilities

- Develop and execute comprehensive data governance strategies to ensure high-quality data management across all business units.

- Lead the design and deployment of Master Data Management solutions to maintain a single source of truth for enterprise data.

- Establish and monitor Metadata Management protocols to enhance data discoverability, lineage tracking, and usage transparency.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data policies, standards, and procedures that support operational efficiency.





- Oversee data quality initiatives and implement continuous improvement processes to mitigate risks associated with data integrity.

- Manage the end-to-end data lifecycle, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements.

- Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance to drive the maturity of the organization's data capabilities.

RequirementsRequirements:

- Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in data management, with a strong focus on Data Governance and Data Operations.

- Proven expertise in Master Data Management, Data Governance frameworks, and Metadata Management tools and methodologies.

- Demonstrated ability to lead large-scale data transformation projects and drive organizational change.

- Solid understanding of data architecture, data modeling, and data security best practices.

- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at the executive level.

- Willingness to work onsite in Mumbai on a day shift basis.

- Immediate availability or notice period of no more than two weeks.
