Job Title: Lead / Senior Data Scientist

Experience: 6–9 years

Qualification: Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Computer Engineering, or a related field from a Tier-1 institution.

Work Mode: Remote
Working Hours: 1:00 PM – 10:00 PM

Role Overview:

As a Lead/Senior Data Scientist, you will work closely with stakeholders, Data Scientists, Data Engineers, developers, and clinicians to solve complex healthcare problems using AI/ML, Generative AI, Agentic AI, Computer Vision, and Applied Statistics.

The role involves developing scalable AI/ML solutions, building LLM-powered applications, leading end-to-end problem solving, and driving innovation in healthcare and Life Sciences.

Please Note: Hands-on experience with Agentic AI is mandatory for this role.

Key Responsibilities





- Apply AI/ML techniques to solve and mathematically interpret complex healthcare problems.
- Develop, prototype, deploy, and optimize machine learning solutions on large-scale datasets.
- Build LLM-powered solutions for Chat, Q&A;, Summarization, Document Generation, Translation, and other healthcare use cases.
- Design and develop AI agents and Agentic AI solutions using the latest LLM technologies.
- Conduct quantitative data analysis and generate actionable insights from diverse datasets.
- Contribute to applied ML research and end-to-end AI/ML problem solving.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into scalable AI solutions.
- Lead and mentor Data Scientists, developers, and clinicians in designing and evaluating AI-based healthcare solutions.
- Leverage emerging advances in Agentic AI, Generative AI, Machine Learning, and Computer Vision.
- Drive innovation and contribute to research and solution development initiatives.

Key Skills & Experience
- 6–9 years of experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, and predictive modelling.
- Mandatory: Strong hands-on experience in Agentic AI and building AI agents.
- Hands-on experience developing applications using LLMs and Generative AI.
- Strong knowledge of Python and SQL.
- Strong understanding of Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Transformers, and underlying mathematics.
- Experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, PySpark, and Scikit-learn.
- Strong knowledge of statistical and analytics techniques including:
- Classification & Regression
- Clustering
- Outlier Detection
- Hypothesis Testing

- Experience with Computer Vision, preferably within the Pharmaceutical/Life Sciences domain.
- Understanding of ML best practices and ability to work with/modify existing ML frameworks and algorithms.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and translating business requirements into technical solutions.
