Role & responsibilities

Plan and deliver

1. Plan production week by week against the order book.

2. Commit dispatch dates to the Director and ensure they are met.

3. Set daily targets per station and follow up on the floor.

4. Report daily output, Work-in-Progress (WIP), and stock levels.

5. Keep production records in the ERP system current.

Run the floor as an industrial engineer

1. Measure cycle times and capacity per station to balance the production line, preventing starvation or pile-ups.

2. Write and maintain work standards and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for winding, grinding, painting, testing, and packing.

3. Track rejection rates, rework, and material usage; identify root causes and implement corrective actions to reduce cost per piece.

4. Maintain 5S principles, safety standards, and overall tidiness, especially concerning resin, fiber,



and paint handling.

Own quality and dispatch

1. Oversee in-process checks, load/bend tests, and manage customer or third-party inspections on the floor.

2. Ensure packing and dispatch adhere to schedule, with all necessary documentation complete.

Manage people

1. Handle shift planning, attendance tracking, discipline, and training for the team.

2. Collaborate with HR to hire operators and helpers.

3. Develop next-level supervisors to enable the plant to transition to a second shift operation.

Look after the assets

1. Manage consumables, mandrels, tooling, and machine upkeep.

2. Raise purchase requisitions for necessary items in a timely manner.
