About the job

Key responsibilities:

1. Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and dispatch.
2. Manage and allocate work to warehouse staff to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
3. Monitor incoming and outgoing materials and verify quantities against relevant documents.
4. Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock checks and cycle counts.
5. Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies, damages, shortages, and excess inventory.
6. Ensure proper storage, labeling, identification, and handling of materials.
7. Coordinate with procurement, sales, production, transport, and other departments for timely movement of goods.
8. Ensure orders are picked, packed, and dispatched accurately and within scheduled timelines.
9. Maintain warehouse cleanliness, organization, and proper utilization of storage space.
10. Ensure compliance with company SOPs, safety procedures, and quality standards.
11. Monitor warehouse equipment and report maintenance or repair requirements.
12. Prepare daily/weekly warehouse reports covering inventory, dispatches, receipts, productivity, and discrepancies.
13. Train, guide, and monitor warehouse staff to improve productivity and work discipline.
14. Monitor attendance, shift schedules, overtime, and workforce requirements.
15. Implement measures to reduce material damage, losses, picking errors, and operational delays.
16. Ensure proper documentation for all warehouse transactions.

Other requirements

1. Graduate/Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field is preferred.

2. 2–5 years of experience in warehouse, inventory, logistics, or distribution operations.

3. Experience in supervising warehouse staff and handling day-to-day warehouse activities.

4. Basic knowledge of inventory management and warehouse processes.

5. Working knowledge of MS Excel and inventory, ERP, or WMS software.

6. Positive communication, coordination, and team-management skills.

7. Ability to work in shifts and handle operational pressure when required.
