Quality Thought is seeking a Computer Lab Assistant to join our Learning and Training department in Hyderabad. This is a full-time, on-site position ideal for entry-level candidates who are passionate about education and technology. As part of our Education Management industry team, you will play a vital role in supporting our training programs and ensuring a seamless learning experience for students and trainers.

In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining computer lab operations, assisting learners with technical queries, and supporting the delivery of training sessions. You will work closely with instructors and staff to create a productive and well-organized learning workplace that aligns with our commitment to quality education.

We offer a competitive salary range of ₹2,50,000 - ₹3,60,000 per year, along with opportunities to grow your technical and professional skills in a supportive educational setting.

Responsibilities

- Set up, configure, and maintain computer systems and lab equipment
- Assist students and trainers with basic technical issues during training sessions
- Ensure all lab systems are updated with required software and tools
- Monitor lab usage and maintain a clean, organized environment
- Support instructors in preparing materials and setting up training sessions




- Troubleshoot hardware and software problems and escalate when necessary
- Maintain inventory of lab equipment and report any damages or shortages
- Assist in installing and configuring applications needed for coursework
- Provide basic guidance to learners on using lab resources effectively
- Coordinate with the IT team to resolve technical issues promptly
- Document common issues and solutions for future reference
- Ensure compliance with lab safety and usage policies

Requirements

- Masters degree (M.Tech) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 0-2 years of experience in a technical support or lab assistant role
- Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software, and operating systems
- Strong knowledge on Python, MERN Stack, Gen AI and other IT domains knowledge would be an added advantage
- Familiarity with common applications such as MS Office and web browsers
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Preferred: Basic understanding of networking concepts
- Preferred: Experience with lab management or technical support tools
