Applications are invited for the Post of Project Associate-II for the ANRF funded project in Centre for Clean Workplace (CCE), Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT).
Title of the Project
Investigation of the most toxic ultrafine Particulate Matter (PM 1) across three climatic zones in India: Emissions, Toxicity, Health, and Policy
Qualifications
- Master s degree in Environmental Science /Physics /Climate Change/ Atmospheric Science/ Meteorology/ or equivalent) from a reputed University /Institute OR Master s degree in Engineering /Technology (Environmental/ or equivalent) from a recognized university. Along with two years experience in R&D; in Industrial and Academic Institutions or Science and Technology Organizations or Scientific activities and services in the area of climate change/ air pollution and policy /advocacy. Candidates with Proficiency in data analysis, MathLab and GIS may be preferred.
- OR Four year Bachelor s degree in Civil, Environmental, Energy, Chemical, Biotech,
engineering or technology from recognized university /institutions with two years experience in R&D; in Industrial and Academic Institutions or Science and Technology Organizations or Scientific activities and services in the area of climate change/ air pollution and policy /advocacy. Candidates with Proficiency in data analysis, MathLab and GIS may be preferred.
- OR Four year Bachelor s degree in Medicine (MBBS) /Public health from recognized university /institutions with two years equivalent experience in climate-health impacts /public health, and proficiency in data analysis, epidemiology, or policy modelling.
Mandatory Skills
- Candidates having knowledge in field monitoring, environmental assessment, chemical analysis, data analysis, mathematical modelling, GIS and experience in technical writing will be preferred.
