What the job actually is
You're not stitching clips in order. You're taking raw footage and building something that makes people feel something. You'll work directly with the founder to keep our visual + emotional style consistent across every project — teasers, full films, all of it.
If your idea of editing is "cut on the beat and call it a day" — this isn't your gig.
What you'll be doing
- Turning raw footage into an actual story arc
- Color grading in DaVinci Resolve to match required look
- Sound design + music syncing that hits the emotional beats
- Working with us on pacing and which moments actually matter
- Hitting deadlines. Every time. No exceptions.
What you need to bring
- 2+ years editing wedding films or other emotional content (corporate/ad editing doesn't translate here)
- You're genuinely positive in DaVinci Resolve (Premiere works too)
- You understand color grading, not just presets
- A portfolio that shows you can tell a story
- You can work independently and don't need constant hand-holding to hit deadlines
