ROLE OVERVIEW
Our client is looking for a Head of Product Design to lead the design function and shape the overall product experience. The role will work closely with Product, Engineering and Business leadership to define product experiences, establish design standards and build a strong design culture.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Own the overall product design vision and strategy across web and mobile products.
* Lead and mentor the product design team and build a high-performing design function.
* Partner closely with Product and Engineering leadership from strategy to execution.
* Translate business and customer problems into simple, intuitive and scalable product experiences.
* Drive user research, UX strategy, interaction and visual design.
* Establish and evolve design systems, processes and design standards.
* Ensure consistency and quality of UX across the product ecosystem.
* Champion user-centric design and bring customer insights into product decisions.
* Review and provide direction on key product journeys and experiences.
* Balance customer needs, business objectives and technical constraints.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
* 8–12 years of experience in Product Design / UX, with significant experience leading design teams or functions.
