About the role:

Rocky Mountain Media is hiring an Email Marketing Specialist focused primarily on generating qualified leads (b2b) through cold email outreach. This is a lead-gen-first role, your main job is filling our pipeline with prospects who convert into clients. You'll also support general administrative tasks, but email marketing and outreach performance is the core of what you're measured on.

What you'll do:

Email Marketing & Lead Generation (primary focus):

- Build and run cold outreach campaigns end-to-end using Apollo — list building, sequencing, sending, follow-ups
- Own deliverability: mailbox warm-up, sender reputation, domain health across multiple sending accounts, so campaigns actually land in inboxes
- Research and build targeted prospect lists based on our ideal client profile
- Write and continuously test email copy/subject lines/sequences to improve open and reply rates
- Manage replies and move interested prospects into the pipeline, coordinating scheduling through Outlook
- Track campaign performance (opens, replies, meetings booked, deals sourced) and report on what's working
- Continuously refine targeting and messaging based on results, this role owns outcomes, not just sending volume

Administrative Support (secondary):

- Inbox and calendar coordination
- CRM/pipeline updates as leads move through the funnel




- General ad hoc administrative tasks as needed

Compensation structure:

- Base pay for day-to-day outreach and admin work
- Commission on any contract that closes from a lead you generated, structure to be discussed, but this role has real upside tied directly to outbound performance, not just activity

What we're looking for:

- Solid, hands-on Apollo experience is essential, this is a lead-gen role first, and Apollo is the core tool. We need someone who already knows how to build sequences, manage deliverability, and read campaign data, not someone learning it on the job
- Proficiency with Outlook for scheduling and correspondence
- Strong written communication, you're writing the copy that gets replies, so this needs to be a real strength, not an afterthought
- Motivated by outcomes, since commission is tied to closed contracts, we're looking for someone who wants outreach performance to translate directly into their own income
- Bonus: experience with GoHighLevel (GHL)
