Role Description The Restaurant Cashier is a full-time, on-site role based in New Delhi. This role includes handling customer orders at the counter, processing cash and digital payments accurately, and issuing receipts. The cashier responds to customer inquiries, maintains a courteous and professional demeanor, and ensures a smooth flow of guests during busy hours. Daily responsibilities also include managing the cash drawer, reconciling totals, coordinating with the food & beverage team for timely order delivery,
and keeping the cashier station clean and organized.
Qualifications
- Strong Customer Service and Interpersonal Skills to engage warmly with guests and resolve basic issues.
- Reliable Cash Handling abilities, including operating POS systems and maintaining accurate transaction records.
- Professional Phone Etiquette for answering calls, taking orders, and providing information clearly and courteously.
- Basic understanding of Food & Beverage service in a quick-service or restaurant environment.
- Attention to detail and basic math skills for billing and reconciliation.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced setting.
- Prior experience as a cashier or in hospitality is an advantage but not mandatory.
- High school diploma or equivalent and willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and peak hours.
