Printing Expert Professional

A pioneering Singapore-headquartered education company is looking for an exceptional Printing & Production Professional to join its India team.

We are looking for someone who understands paper, printing and book production inside out — someone who can combine technical expertise with strong commercial judgement, vendor relationships and relentless execution.

What you will Own

- End-to-end production of educational books, workbooks and learning materials
- Paper selection, specifications, consumption and cost optimisation
- Pre-press, printing, binding, finishing and quality control
- Identification, evaluation and management of printing partners across India and overseas
- Working with both large-scale and boutique printers
- Costing, commercial negotiation and vendor development
- Production planning and ensuring delivery against committed timelines
- Quality assurance — with a sharp eye for detail and consistency
- Troubleshooting production issues and taking quick corrective action
- Building a reliable, competitive and high-quality print-vendor ecosystem

What we are looking for

You are someone who:

- Knows printing practically, not just theoretically
- Understands paper, print processes, binding, finishing and production economics
- Has worked closely with leading as well as specialised/boutique printers
- Is a strong commercial negotiator




- Has a high bar for quality
- Takes ownership and has a robust bias for action
- Is dependable and delivers against commitments
- Has high integrity and builds long-term vendor relationships
- Is comfortable working in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment
- Can solve problems on the ground rather than simply escalate them

Ideal profile

- Engineering qualification preferred, particularly Printing Technology / Mechanical / related disciplines
- 6–8 years of relevant experience in printing, publishing, educational publishing or print production
- Experience in book printing / educational materials will be highly valued
- Experience working with printers in India and/or overseas
- Experience with a multinational organisation will be an advantage
- Strong understanding of production costing, quality and vendor management
