Role Purpose

Responsible for the design, configuration, customization, integration, and support
of Oracle Insurance Policy Administration (OIPA) solutions. Develop and maintain
policy administration configurations, business rules, batch processing, integrations,
and custom extensions to support insurance products and business operations.

Duties & Responsibilities

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/KRAs/KPIs:
• Configure and maintain OIPA products, plans, coverages, activities,
transactions, and business rules.
• Design and implement OIPA solutions using AsCriteria and rules-based
configurations.
• Develop and support OIPA Java extensions and custom business logic.
• Configure, optimize, and troubleshoot Cycleweb batch processing and
scheduling.
• Manage integrations through SOAP services, AS File interfaces, DIQueue,
and messaging platforms.




• Analyze and resolve production issues, batch failures, performance
bottlenecks, and data integrity concerns.
• Support OIPA platform upgrades, migrations, and enhancement initiatives.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into
effective OIPA solutions.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, configuration artifacts, and
audit-compliant records.
• Participate in testing, release management, deployment support, and
production validation activities.
• Drive system performance, operational efficiency, stability, and continuous
improvement initiatives.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including Business, QA,
Integration, Infrastructure, and Development teams to deliver scalable and
compliant solutions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on Oracle Insurance Policy Administration (OIPA)
configuration experience.
• Experience with at least one full OIPA implementation, upgrade, or migration
project.
• Strong expertise in OIPA Rules Engine, UIP Architecture, and As Criteriadriven configuration.
• Hands-on experience configuring products, plans, coverages, activities,
transactions, and business rules.
• Experience with SOAP services, file-based integrations, messaging systems,
and enterprise application integration
