Application & AWS Platform Engineer

Location: Hyderabad | Full-time, Office-based

About the Role

We’re looking for a hands-on engineer to own, enhance, and support production applications and their AWS platform.

The role spans Application Engineering, Linux, Bash/Python scripting, AWS Cloud, CI/CD, automation, and production troubleshooting. You should have positive application understanding and the ability to troubleshoot issues end-to-end, implement fixes/enhancements, and improve reliability and performance.

Key Responsibilities

- Own and troubleshoot application + AWS issues end-to-end.
- Understand application functionality, dependencies, configurations, and troubleshoot application issues in production.
- Develop application fixes, enhancements, scripts, and automation.
- Manage AWS infrastructure and Linux servers.
- Troubleshoot application, OS, network, database, and performance issues.
- Manage deployments, basic CI/CD pipelines, configuration, and releases.
- Perform RCA, observability, automation, and reliability improvements.
- Improve application availability, performance, and scalability.
- Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to identify and resolve complex production issues.




- Participate in on-call / critical production support.

Required

- 3–6 years of experience in Application Engineering/Support, Linux, AWS Cloud, SRE, DevOps, or Platform Engineering.
- Strong Linux hands-on experience and good understanding of application environments.
- Good application troubleshooting and debugging skills, with the ability to understand application behavior and identify root causes.
- Strong Bash/Python scripting skills for automation and troubleshooting.
- Intermediate-level AWS hands-on experience with services such as EC2, IAM, S3, CloudWatch, VPC, etc.
- Basic hands-on knowledge of CI/CD concepts and tools.
- Experience with production troubleshooting, RCA, deployments, and incident resolution.
- Good understanding of networking, databases, and application architecture.
- Ability to analyze logs, identify patterns, troubleshoot failures, and drive issues to resolution.
- Strong ownership and independent problem-solving skills.

We’re looking for engineers who can understand applications, troubleshoot production issues, fix, automate, and own—not monitoring-only or ticket-based support profiles.
