At SkySpecs, our mission is to simplify renewable asset management so less can do more for the planet. SkySpecs is making this possible by automating wind farm operations and maintenance with advanced robotics paired with our custom-built asset performance management software, Horizon.

SkySpecs launched the world's first completely autonomous blade inspection product in 2016 with a custom-designed drone system. Since then, SkySpecs has inspected over 90% of US wind turbines and expanded globally, becoming the world leader in understanding turbine blade health. Identifying issues with turbine blades is only the first step. In 2019, SkySpecs launched Horizon, a platform for SkySpecs to offer a multi-layered solution for customers that includes: data collection, wind turbine blade engineering expertise, and a place for all stakeholders to collaborate to manage and analyze massive amounts of data, spot trends, and create plans for high-cost repair campaigns. What will you be getting into

Join a collaborative team of Product Managers, Software Engineers, Leads, and Developers dedicated to building and managing a state-of-the-art analytics and decision-support platform tailored for the renewable energy sector. Together, we deploy, operate, and maintain the essential software and infrastructure that seamlessly connects diverse customer data systems with Horizon CMS, our advanced drivetrain analytics platform.

As a Data Infrastructure & Integration Engineer, you will:

- Configure, deploy,



and maintain tools and infrastructure that enable the flow of CMS,
- SCADA, and other data into our cloud-based platforms, including Horizon CMS
- Detect, track, and resolve data connectivity issues across the entire fleet of customer data system integrations
- Help maintain underlying AWS infrastructure for data connectivity
- Collaborate with service delivery teams to ensure high-quality, reliable data is available for their analysis and reporting
- Respond to data connectivity trouble tickets and work the issues to completion
- Work with the connectivity team to create and improve processes needed for increased scalability and efficiency

Requirements of the job:

- 3+ years of work experience in a technical engineering, operations, or analyst role
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Robust Unix/Linux command line skills
- A basic understanding of data protocols, networking concepts, and IT security practices
- Fluency in English and excellent communication skills
- Ability to work outside normal business hours, when needed, to support the global team

Bonus Point:

- Experience in the wind power industry, especially drivetrain condition monitoring
- Proficiency with AWS tools and services like S3, EC2, VPC, and CloudWatch
- Experience with data analysis tools and scripting, e.g., using Python, SQL
- Capability and willingness to use AI tools, such as advanced LLMs, to increase productivity
- Degree in Engineering, or an applicable technical degree from an accredited university
