About the Role

We are looking for an Operations & Recruitment Associate to be the operational backbone of Meeravi. This is a highly people-facing role spanning client communication, recruitment coordination, candidate management, and internal admin. You will work directly with the founder and see every part of how an HR consultancy runs.

The ideal candidate is polished, articulate, and comfortable representing Meeravi across calls, meetings, and written communication, while also being hands-on with the documentation and follow-ups that keep client engagements on track.

Key Responsibilities

- Serve as a key point of contact for our SME clients: checking in regularly on open roles, hiring progress, satisfaction, and any evolving HR needs
- Coordinate recruitment activity across active mandates, including scheduling interviews, sharing candidate updates, and gathering client feedback
- Conduct initial screening calls with candidates and maintain an organized candidate pipeline
- Prepare and maintain candidate profiles and shortlists for presentation to clients
- Manage day-to-day documentation across client records, recruitment trackers, and HR documents prepared for clients
- Support invoicing and payment follow-ups, including engagement fees and placement fees
- Represent Meeravi professionally in all client and candidate interactions: in person, on calls, and over email
- Use AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, etc.)

Requirements

- 1-2 years of experience in an HR, recruitment, operations, or coordination role, ideally within a small or quick-moving company
- Excellent spoken and written English; confident, professional phone and video call manner
- Strong organizational skills with attention to documentation and detail
- Comfortable multitasking across client communication, candidate coordination, and internal admin
- A professional, approachable presence, given the client-facing nature of the role
- Basic familiarity with AI tools like Claude or ChatGPT, or genuine willingness to learn and apply them

Good-to-Have

- Prior experience in recruitment, staffing, or an HR consultancy
- Exposure to working with SME founders or business owners
- Familiarity with job portals (Naukri, LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed) and sourcing tools
- Basic understanding of HR documentation such as offer letters, policies, and onboarding checklists
