- Manage day-to-day accounting and maintenance of books of accounts.
- Handle accounts payable, receivables, general ledger and bank/cash transactions.
- Perform monthly bank and ledger reconciliations.
- Review invoices, employee expenses, advances and payments.
- Assist in monthly closing, financial statements and MIS reporting.
- Monitor receivables, payables and cash flows.
Income Tax & TDS
- Independently handle routine TDS and Income Tax compliance.
- Determine TDS applicability on vendor, skilled, contractual, rent and other payments.
- Ensure timely deduction, deposit and filing of TDS.
- Prepare/review TDS workings and reconcile with Form 26AS/AIS.
- Coordinate with tax consultants on Income Tax notices and assessments.
- Keep track of changes in applicable Income Tax/TDS provisions.
PF & Statutory Compliance
- Ensure timely PF/EPF and payroll-related statutory compliances.
- Review monthly PF/TDS and other statutory deductions.
- Coordinate with payroll service providers and HR.
- Maintain statutory records and documentation.
- Assist with statutory authority queries, notices, and inspections.
GST
- Possess basic-to-working knowledge of GST.
- Review GST applicability on purchases and expenses.
- Assist with GST workings, returns and GSTR-2B/Input Tax Credit reconciliation.
- Coordinate with GST consultants for filings and notices.
