Job Purpose
To perform and support GMP microbiology activities for a cell therapy manufacturing facility, ensuring effective microbiological control of manufacturing areas, utilities,
materials and products in compliance with applicable GMP requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform Environmental Monitoring (EM) including active air, settle plates, surface monitoring and personnel monitoring.
- Perform sterility testing of raw materials, process samples and finished cell therapy products.
- Perform microbiological testing of purified/process water and support water-system monitoring.
- Perform Bacterial Endotoxin Testing (BET) including PPC, inhibition/enhancement and method suitability.
- Perform Mycoplasma testing, preferably using PCR/qPCR-based methods.
- Perform Growth Promotion Testing (GPT), media sterility checks and microbiological media management.
- Support EM, water and microbiological trend analysis and periodic reporting.
- Support OOS/OOT, deviation, excursion, investigation and CAPA activities.
Qualification: M.Sc.in Microbiology, Biotechnology, Life Sciences or equivalent
Experience: 4–6 Years of hands-on QC Microbiology experience in a GMP environment.
