Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage end-to-end land acquisition processes for infrastructure projects (Railway/Highway/Metro/Other BOT projects).
- Liaise with State/Central Government authorities, local administration, revenue departments, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth acquisition and transfer of land.
- Ensure compliance with the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 and other relevant land and revenue laws.
- Develop strategies to mitigate risks and resolve challenges related to land disputes, compensation, resettlement, and rehabilitation.
- Coordinate with legal teams, project managers, and contractors to ensure land-related clearances are aligned with project schedules.
- Prepare and maintain accurate records, documentation, and reports of land acquisition progress.
- Provide expert advice to management on land acquisition policies, legal implications, and stakeholder engagement.




- Represent the organization in negotiations, meetings, and discussions with government authorities and affected parties.

Qualification

1. Graduate Degree (mandatory)
2. Preferably LLB from a recognized institute/university

Experience Requirements

- Total Professional Experience: Minimum 15 years of qualified experience.
- Relevant Experience (any one of the following)

1. At least 5 years experience in Railway/Highway projects as a Liaison Manager with direct involvement in land acquisition for BOT/Construction Agencies.
2. At least 3 years at Manager level or above in a Railway PSU handling construction project with significant land acquisition responsibilities.
3. At least 3 years in State Government Administration/Revenue Department as a Gazetted Officer handling and enabling land acquisition for infrastructure projects.
