About the Role

Aadhi Law Chambers, the office of Designated Senior Advocate H. Venugopal, is seeking a competent and detail-oriented Legal Stenographer to join our team at our office in Kokapet, Hyderabad.

The successful candidate will provide stenography, transcription, documentation, and general administrative support in a qualified legal environment and will be expected to handle confidential and time-sensitive legal work with accuracy and discretion.

Key Responsibilities

- Taking dictation in shorthand and accurately transcribing the same.
- Typing and preparing legal correspondence, pleadings, notes, opinions, applications, and other legal documents.
- Proofreading and formatting documents to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Maintaining and organising case files, records, correspondence, and other documentation.
- Providing day-to-day stenographic and secretarial assistance to the Senior Advocate and legal team.
- Assisting with documentation and other administrative requirements of the chambers.
- Handling confidential information with a high degree of professionalism and discretion.




- Completing assigned work accurately and within required timelines.

Qualifications & Skills

- Strong proficiency in shorthand and English typing is essential.
- Excellent command of written English, including grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
- Valuable typing speed with a high degree of accuracy.
- Proficiency in MS Word and basic computer applications.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with legal documents.
- Ability to take and accurately transcribe dictation.
- Good organisational and time-management skills.
- Qualified conduct, reliability, and discretion are essential.
- Candidates with prior experience in a law firm, law chamber, court, or other legal environment will be preferred, but such experience is not mandatory.

Location & Relocation

This position is based at our office in Kokapet, Hyderabad.

Candidates should be willing and able to commute to Kokapet on a regular basis or relocate to Hyderabad/Kokapet, as required.
