Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Perl Developer to join an Agile team working on healthcare applications and rule migration. The candidate will be responsible for developing, debugging, enhancing, and supporting applications while ensuring high-quality and scalable solutions.

Key Skills & Qualifications

- Strong experience in Perl scripting and development.
- Good knowledge of SQL and Oracle databases.
- Experience working with Unix/Linux environments.
- Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and relational database technologies.
- Experience in production support, application monitoring, debugging, and issue resolution.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Knowledge of Java is an added advantage.
- Exposure to Microservices architecture is desirable.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, debug, test, and deploy Perl-based applications and components.




- Work on rule migration and implementation for healthcare applications.
- Understand existing systems, troubleshoot issues, and recommend scalable technical solutions.
- Provide timely fixes and support for production issues.
- Develop high-quality, maintainable, and scalable software components.
- Write unit tests and perform functional testing to ensure application quality.
- Participate in code reviews, bug fixing, documentation, and regression testing.
- Follow coding standards and the team's Definition of Done (DoD).
- Collaborate with Technology and Product teams to align solutions with business requirements.
- Participate actively in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews/readouts, and retrospectives.

Preferred Experience

- Experience in healthcare applications or healthcare domain will be an advantage.
- Exposure to Microservices, Java, and contemporary application development practices is preferred.
- Experience working in a production environment with monitoring and support tools.
