Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Workday Compensation & Benefits Specialist to design, configure, and optimize our global rewards architecture. The ideal candidate will translate complex focal merit cycles, variable bonus plans, multi-tier grade profiles, and open enrollment structures into highly automated, secure cloud solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Configure core and advanced compensation structures, including compensation packages, grades, grade profiles, eligibility rules, and custom allowance plans.

- Orchestrate global merit and bonus cycles, building focal review process flows, configuring compensation grids, and setting up manager recommendation dashboards.

- Design and maintain benefits programs, configuring benefit groups, plan types, health/insurance plans, coverage rules, and beneficiary tracking.

- Manage open enrollment events, defining passive events, enrollment calendar matrices, employee validation rules,



and electronic sign-off paths.

- Govern security and data controls, establishing conditional domain permissions to isolate executive compensation metrics and sensitive healthcare information.

- Collaborate with integration and payroll teams to support downstream data transmission to payroll systems or external benefit providers via Cloud Connect for Advantages (CCB).

- Assess semi-annual feature upgrades, leading sandbox verification runs, validating calculation rules, and updating system documentation for new releases.

Requirements

- 4 to 8 years of enterprise rewards technology experience, with 4+ dedicated years actively configuring Workday Compensation or Benefits infrastructure.

- Strong technical mastery of the Workday Compensation Matrix, eligibility rule calculation logic, focal launch steps, and benefit program hierarchies.

- Deep structural understanding of global total rewards frameworks, variable bonus structures, international healthcare tiers, and corporate equity plans.

- Mandatory certification: Workday Certified Advanced Compensation OR Workday Certified Benefits.

Preferred Qualifications

- Workday Certified Core HCM certification.

- Prior consulting experience managing global, multi-currency compensation rollouts involving complex local data residency compliance laws.
