Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Workday Time Tracking & Absence Management Specialist to design, configure, and optimize our global workforce tracking infrastructure. The ideal candidate will translate complex regional labor laws, intricate shift differential matrices, overtime calculations, and multi-country leave accrual rules into highly accurate, automated cloud solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Configure and manage Workday Time Tracking components, including time entry templates, time card calculation rules, period schedules, and clock-in/out rounding rules.

- Design and maintain Absence Management architectures, structuring time off plans, leave of absence types, accrual calculations, and balance tracking rules.

- Construct complex time calculation tags and rate rules, automating shift differentials, statutory holiday premiums, and multi-tiered overtime thresholds.

- Build advanced business process (BP) routing paths,



configuring conditional validation rules to catch time-entry anomalies, missing manager approvals, and scheduling overlaps.

- Govern compliance and localized rules, updating validation rules in response to changes in regional labor laws, collective bargaining agreements, and corporate leave policies.

- Orchestrate cross-module data integration lines, ensuring that calculated time blocks pass cleanly to Workday Payroll or external third-party time clock hardware.

- Lead update evaluation runs for biannual platform releases, running regression tests on complex calculation profiles inside sandboxes to prevent production calculation errors.

Requirements

- 4 to 8 years of workforce management technology experience, with 4+ dedicated years actively designing, building, and maintaining Workday Time Tracking or Absence systems.

- Solid technical mastery of Workday Time Calculation rules, eligibility criteria logic, balance calculations, and calculated fields.

- Deep structural understanding of global labor laws, statutory time tracking regulations, complex shift patterns, and continuous or intermittent leave tracking.

- Mandatory certification: Workday Certified Time Tracking OR Workday Certified Absence Management.

Preferred Qualifications

- Workday Certified Core HCM certification.

- Prior experience managing complex scheduling integrations or deploying mobile time-tracking interfaces for high-volume, global physical workforces.
