Summary:

The role of the Global Network & Security Expert focuses on designing, implementing, and optimizing secure global network infrastructures across various environments including data centers, campuses, branch offices, and the cloud, aligning security measures with business objectives.

Main Responsibilities:

- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise security architectures based on Palo Alto Networks Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFW).
- Develop and enforce security policies, segmentation strategies, and zero-trust principles.
- Lead firewall lifecycle management, rule optimization, threat prevention, and advanced security feature deployment.
- Perform security assessments, risk analysis, and architecture reviews.
- Design and operate Palo Alto Prisma Access environments for secure remote user and branch connectivity.
- Manage and optimize GlobalProtect deployments for secure remote access.
- Support cloud-delivered security services including Secure Web Gateway (SWG), Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA), and Remote user protection.
- Troubleshoot complex access, authentication, and connectivity issues.
- Design, deploy, and operate Palo Alto Prisma SD-WAN solutions across global branch networks.
- Define application-aware routing policies and WAN optimization strategies.
- Ensure resilience through energetic path selection, performance monitoring, and automated failover mechanisms.
- Collaborate with service providers to optimize underlay WAN connectivity.
- Design and support enterprise routing environments based on BGP.
- Perform route analysis, troubleshooting, and optimization across multi-site and hybrid-cloud environments.
- Develop routing policies, redundancy mechanisms, and traffic engineering solutions.




- Participate in network transformation and migration initiatives.
- Design, deploy, and support Cisco Catalyst switching infrastructures.
- Manage enterprise LAN environments, including VLAN architecture, Layer 2/Layer 3 services, high availability designs, and network segmentation.
- Design and operate Cisco wireless infrastructures ensuring optimal user experience and coverage.
- Conduct performance analysis and capacity planning for LAN and WiFi services.
- Provide Level 3 and escalation support for complex network and security incidents.
- Develop and maintain network standards, technical documentation, and operational procedures.
- Participate in change management, problem management, and major incident resolution.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership across projects and operational teams.

- 10+ years of enterprise networking and cybersecurity experience

- Preferred Certifications: PCNSA, PCNSE, CCNP Enterprise, CCIE Enterprise Infrastructure
