Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Test Automation Developer (SDET) to join our team. The candidate should have strong experience in Playwright automation, C#/.NET development, and API testing. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining scalable automation frameworks for both web applications and backend services while ensuring high-quality software delivery through continuous testing and CI/CD integration.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using Playwright with C#/.NET.
- Create and execute automated test scripts for UI, API, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Develop and maintain automated tests for frontend applications and backend REST APIs.
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and QA teams to understand business requirements and define test strategies.
- Perform API validation using tools such as Postman and automation frameworks.
- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous quality assurance.
- Analyze test execution results, identify defects, and work closely with development teams for resolution.




- Review requirements and participate in design discussions to ensure testability and quality.
- Maintain automation code repositories using Azure DevOps Repos.
- Contribute to test framework improvements, coding standards, and automation best practices.
- Generate test reports and provide quality metrics to stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills

- Hands-on experience in Playwright automation testing.
- Strong programming skills in C# and .NET.
- Experience in REST API testing and automation.
- Experience testing both Frontend UI and Backend APIs.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.).
- Experience using GitHub for source control and collaboration.
- Proficiency in Postman for API testing and validation.
- Strong experience with Visual Studio development workplace.
- Knowledge of software testing methodologies, test design techniques, and automation best practices.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum development processes.

Added Advantage

- Knowledge of Python scripting and automation.
- Experience with BDD (Behavior-Driven Development) methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with Cucumber or similar BDD tools.
- Familiarity with Visual Studio Code.

Education

- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, Electronics and Communication, Electronics and Instrumentation.
