Role Overview

We are looking for a C# Backend and Database Developer with 1.5+ years of experience to support the development, maintenance and troubleshooting of BioLIMS backend services and data systems. The role will work closely with the existing backend team on APIs, Azure SQL, production support and application modernization.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain C# .NET REST APIs and backend services.
- Troubleshoot application and production issues using code, logs and database analysis.
- Develop and optimize T-SQL queries and support Azure SQL databases.
- Fix bugs, implement enhancements and improve application reliability and performance.
- Support applications built on .NET Core 3.1, .NET 5 and .NET 6 and contribute to modernization initiatives.
- Assist with deployments to Azure App Service on Windows.
- Follow Git, code review and standard development practices.




- Collaborate with senior developers to resolve technical issues and support ongoing projects.

Required Skills & Experience

- 2+ years of experience in C# and .NET backend development.
- Solid understanding of C#, .NET/.NET Core and REST APIs.
- Hands-on experience with SQL Server/Azure SQL and T-SQL.
- Experience in debugging, troubleshooting and resolving backend issues.
- Familiarity with Azure App Service and Git.
- Good understanding of database-driven applications and software development practices.

Preferred

- Exposure to OAuth, OIDC or IdentityServer.
- Experience with legacy application modernization.
- Exposure to LIMS or enterprise applications.
