We are looking for a dedicated and passionate Scrum Master to coach and support our cross-functional engineering teams in adopting agile mindsets, processes, and frameworks. In this role, you will act as a servant-leader, helping team members collaborate effectively, remove blockers, and deliver predictable, high-quality value to our customers.

You will partner closely with Product Owners, Developers, and QA Engineers to facilitate Scrum events, foster a culture of continuous improvement, and align team efforts with broader strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities 1. Team Facilitation & Coaching

- Facilitate core Scrum events: Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews/Demos, and Retrospectives.
- Guide the team on how to use Scrum and Agile practices effectively to self-organize and deliver high-value products.
- Foster a healthy team dynamic focused on trust, psychological safety, accountability, and continuous learning.

2. Impediment Removal & Process Optimization
- Identify and eliminate team blockers, dependencies, and external distractions.
- Shield the team from unnecessary external interruptions to maintain focus on Sprint Goals.
- Track sprint health metrics (e.g., Velocity, Throughput, Lead/Cycle Time, Burndown) to identify trends and process improvement opportunities.

3. Product Owner & Backlog Collaboration
- Partner with the Product Owner to maintain a healthy, prioritized, and estimated Product Backlog.




- Facilitate Backlog Refinement/Grooming sessions to ensure user stories meet the Definition of Ready (DoR).
- Assist the team in establishing a strong Definition of Done (DoD) and maintaining quality standards.

4. Organizational Agile Advocacy
- Coach and educate stakeholder groups outside the dev team on Agile principles and realistic delivery expectations.
- Collaborate with other Scrum Masters to align on cross-team dependencies and share best practices across the organization.

Qualifications & Skills Required:
- Experience: 8+ years of experience as a Scrum Master supporting software development teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Agile Proficiency: Deep understanding of Agile values, principles, and frameworks (Scrum, Kanban).
- Tooling: Hands-on expertise with Jira, Confluence, and visual collaboration tools (Miro, Mural, or FigJam).
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication, active listening, and conflict resolution skills.
- Facilitation: Proven ability to run engaging, efficient meetings that result in actionable outcomes.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have:
- Certifications: Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM I/II), or SAFe Scrum Master (SSM).
- Technical Familiarity: Understanding of basic contemporary software engineering practices (CI/CD, automated testing, DevOps principles).
- Scaling Knowledge: Experience working in scaled Agile environments (SAFe, LeSS, Nexus, or Spotify model).
