- The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in VMware Horizon| Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops| Microsoft Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD)| Windows OS| and end-user computing technologies. The role involves defining VDI strategy| architecture| performance optimization| security compliance| and operational excellence across large-scale enterprise environments.
- Key Responsibilities Architecture & Design and implement scalable| secure| and high-availability VDI solutions.
- Define VDI architecture standards| best practices| and governance.
- Evaluate and recommend VDI technologies including VMware Horizon| Citrix| and Azure Virtual Desktop.
- Design hybrid and cloud-based virtual desktop environments.
- Implementation & Migration Lead VDI deployment| migration| and upgrade projects.
- Develop migration strategies from physical desktops to VDI platforms.
- Integrate VDI with Active Directory| Azure AD| DNS| DHCP| and identity management systems.
- Performance & Optimization Monitor and optimize VDI performance| capacity| and user experience.
- Conduct root cause analysis for performance bottlenecks.
- Implement profile management and application virtualization solutions.
- Security & Compliance Ensure VDI environments comply with organizational security policies.
- Implement MFA| conditional access| endpoint security| and privileged access management.
