Job Description: Fund Accounting - Fund Event.

What you will be responsible for:

- Responsible for execution of onboarding plan and associated activities supporting accounting, custody and insurance clients.
- Support Fund Event conversions and onboarding activities, including fund launches, fund closures, mergers, restructures, and other fund lifecycle events.
- Manage and support Fund Events including subscriptions, redemptions, capital calls, distributions, investor onboarding/offboarding, and fund restructures.
- Support Corporate Actions, dividend processing, and other event-driven activities impacting fund accounting records and reporting.
- Strong understanding of Fund Lifecycle Events and their impact on fund accounting, client onboarding, and operational processes.
- Assist in validating Fund Event data and reconciliations to ensure successful conversion and migration outcomes.
- Identify, quantify, document, and articulate processing methodology differences; Ensure client and internal teams understand the nature of such methodology changes.
- Perform analysis and reconciliation of accounting data during fund conversions, ensuring accurate migration between source systems and platforms.
- Provide technical expertise to research and resolve discrepancies.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders including COE and other processing teams to ensure client procedures and deadlines are met.
- Partner with Fund Accounting, Custody, Client Service, and Operations teams to ensure successful execution of fund event and conversion activities.
- Ensure project management is updated in a timely manner, highlighting any potential risks with possible solutions.
- Take ownership of assigned fund event projects and contribute to process improvements, knowledge sharing, and operational excellence initiatives.
- Support fund event related activities impacting NAV, accounting records, and operational processes.
- Assist with corporate actions, dividend processing, fund mergers,



and other investment servicing events during client conversions.
- Communicate with clients and internal stakeholders to assess overall conversion status, identify and work collectively to ensure process follows best practices.
- Proven strong communication, interpersonal, decision-making and negotiation skills.

- Competent to Proficient with a Bachelor's/Master's degree or equivalent work experience with a focus in Accounting, Economics, Finance, Technology or related field preferred.
- Minimum 07+ years of financial services experience required.
- Experience supporting Fund Events such as fund launches, fund closures, mergers, restructures, subscriptions, redemptions, capital calls, distributions, and other fund lifecycle events.
- Understanding of Corporate Actions, Dividend Processing, Investor Onboarding/Offboarding, and their impact on Fund Accounting and operational processes.
- Strong understanding of Fund Accounting, accounting data migration, reconciliation, and validation processes.
- Knowledge of MCH, Geneva, eHorizon, or similar fund accounting platforms.
- Knowledge of Investment Manager Servicing, Back Office Accounting, Custody Operations, Asset Servicing, and Reconciliations.
- Previous experience in a client service, fund accounting, fund administration, or fund events role preferred.
- Experience with offshore products, ETFs, Hedge Funds, Derivatives, and Master Feeder fund structures.
- Organized with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced workplace.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Requires a quick learner and SME who can perform tasks independently, provide training to team members, and manage stakeholder communication.
- Demonstrates strong technology, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Demonstrates an ability to be a leader within their team, as well as amongst peers.
- Investment Banking certifications will have an added advantage.
