Skills and Requirements 10+ years of software engineering experience with deep expertise in C#, .NET, and enterprise application development Strong Azure architecture experience beyond application deployment, including designing cloud-native solutions and modern application platforms Experience designing scalable microservices architectures and distributed systems Strong understanding of Domain-Driven Design (DDD), API design, and modern architecture patterns Experience with Azure technologies such as Service Bus, Functions, API integrations, messaging, and cloud-native application design Ability to review code, troubleshoot technical challenges, and mentor development teams without being the primary hands-on developer Experience guiding engineering teams through modernization and architectural transformations Strong communication and influence skills with the ability to gain buy-in across multiple development teams Experience creating architecture standards, best practices, and technical guidance for engineering organizations Familiarity with AI-enabled application architecture and understanding how AI capabilities can be incorporated into enterprise software solutions Ability to translate complex technical concepts into practical guidance for developers and stakeholders Experience working across multiple teams in a highly collaborative environment Experience serving as a Center of Excellence (CoE) architect or engineering standards leader Deep expertise with Azure Service Bus, Event Hubs, API Management, AKS, Container Apps, or other advanced Azure platform services Experience with CQRS, event-driven architecture, and asynchronous messaging patterns Experience modernizing monolithic applications into cloud-native microservices Knowledge of Generative AI, AI-assisted development tools, and AI-driven application design Experience supporting large-scale enterprise SaaS platforms Prior experience influencing globally distributed engineering teams Azure certifications or cloud architecture certifications
