- Conduct initial assessment and regular monitoring of admitted patients.
- Attend emergency calls and provide immediate medical management.
- Monitor vital signs and identify deterioration in patient condition.
- Inform the concerned consultant regarding critical/abnormal findings.
- Implement consultant orders and prescribed treatment plans.
- Review investigation reports and communicate significant findings.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient medical records and progress notes.
- Ensure proper shift handover and effective coordination with nursing staff.
- Follow hospital SOPs, NABH, infection control and patient safety protocols.
- Maintain qualified conduct, confidentiality, punctuality and discipline.
