Job Summary

We are looking for an Electrical Engineer with experience in Transmission Line and Substation projects to support project engineering, site execution, installation, testing, commissioning, and coordination activities.

The candidate will work closely with project managers, clients, consultants, contractors, and vendors to ensure electrical works are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project schedules.

Key Responsibilities

- Execute and supervise electrical works for transmission line and substation projects.
- Review electrical drawings, SLDs, schematics, cable schedules, equipment layouts, and technical specifications.
- Coordinate installation and commissioning of HV/EHV electrical equipment.
- Supervise installation of transformers, CTs, PTs/CVTs, circuit breakers, isolators, busbars, lightning arresters, batteries, chargers, and earthing systems.
- Support transmission line activities including conductor stringing, insulator installation, OPGW/earth-wire installation, and associated electrical works.
- Coordinate with civil, mechanical, survey, construction, and commissioning teams.
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, vendors, consultants, and clients for technical and site-related issues.
- Monitor work progress against project schedules and ensure timely completion.




- Conduct/coordinate testing and commissioning of electrical equipment and systems.
- Review test reports and assist with relay testing, interlock checks, functional checks, and energization activities.
- Ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, ITPs, and applicable standards.
- Identify technical issues at site and coordinate corrective actions.
- Prepare and maintain inspection reports, progress reports, test records, as-built documentation, and other project documents.
- Support closure of punch points, NCRs, client observations, and quality issues.
- Ensure compliance with project HSE and electrical safety requirements.

Required Qualifications

- B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Electrical Engineering / Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
- 3–8 years of relevant experience in Transmission Line, Substation, EPC, Power Transmission, or Power Infrastructure projects.
- Experience in HV/EHV projects will be preferred.
- Good knowledge of electrical equipment, drawings, SLDs, testing, and commissioning.
- Knowledge of relevant electrical standards, safety procedures, and quality requirements.
- Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel and work at project sites across India.
