About the Role

We're looking for a Clay AI Trainee to join our lead generation team and help build, manage, and optimize outbound prospecting workflows using Clay.com. This is a hands-on training role for someone who wants to build deep expertise in AI-powered sales enrichment, data waterfalling, and automated outbound campaign design — skills that are increasingly core to modern SDR and lead-gen operations.

What You'll Do

Build and maintain Clay tables for prospect list building, enrichment, and lead scoring

Set up data waterfalls using enrichment providers (Apollo, Clearbit, Hunter, etc.) integrated within Clay

Use Clay's AI columns (GPT/Claude-powered) to personalize outbound messaging at scale

Integrate Clay workflows with CRM and outbound tools (e.g., Smartlead, Instantly, HubSpot, Salesforce)

Monitor data quality, deliverability metrics, and enrichment accuracy across campaigns

Collaborate with SDRs and campaign managers to translate targeting criteria (ICP, firmographics, technographics) into Clay logic

Document workflows and continuously test/optimize for better match rates and response rates





Stay current on Clay feature releases and best practices in AI-assisted prospecting

Who You Are

Curious, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with data and automation tools

Basic understanding of spreadsheets/formulas (Excel/Google Sheets); no-code/low-code tool experience is a plus

Interest in AI tools, sales technology, or growth/marketing operations

Strong written communication skills (for message personalization and prompt writing)

Analytical mindset — comfortable testing, measuring, and iterating

Prior exposure to Clay, ChatGPT/Claude, Zapier, Make, or CRM tools is a bonus (not mandatory)

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree (any stream); freshers welcome
