Job Description

We are looking for a creative and skilled Fashion Designer – Hard Goods with strong product knowledge and a good understanding of design development for handicraft and lifestyle products.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop creative and commercially viable designs for Hard Goods products.
- Create and modify designs using CAD/Designing software.
- Prepare professional PPT presentations, mood boards, concept sheets and product presentations.
- Use Adobe Photoshop for product design, editing, presentation and artwork development.
- Develop new product concepts based on market trends, customer requirements and export-market preferences.
- Prepare product sketches, design concepts, color combinations, patterns and surface designs.
- Coordinate with the Merchandising, Sampling and Production teams for product development.
- Modify designs according to buyer/customer feedback.
- Maintain proper records of designs, artwork, product specifications and presentations.
- Research current fashion, home décor,



handicraft and lifestyle trends.
- Ensure designs are practical for production and suitable for commercial/export requirements.

Required Skills

- Strong Hard Goods Product Knowledge.
- Positive knowledge of Fashion & Product Designing.
- Knowledge of CAD Designing.
- Good command of Adobe Photoshop.
- Strong knowledge of MS PowerPoint (PPT) and presentation making.
- Good understanding of color, materials, textures, shapes and design aesthetics.
- Ability to create innovative and market-oriented designs.
- Good sketching and conceptualization skills.
- Knowledge of handicraft/home decor products will be an advantage.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work according to deadlines and customer requirements..
