Job Summary
We are looking for a Customer Service professional with 2–3 years of experience in Sea Import / Freight Forwarding. The candidate will be responsible for handling import shipments, coordinating with customers and various stakeholders, and ensuring smooth and timely shipment processing.
Key Responsibilities
Handle day-to-day Sea Import customer service activities independently.
Coordinate with customers regarding shipment status, documentation and delivery updates.
Handle import documentation and ensure all required documents are received and processed on time.
Coordinate with shipping lines, CHA, transporters and other stakeholders.
Follow up on shipment arrival, documentation, clearance and delivery status.
Maintain regular communication with customers and provide timely updates.
Resolve customer queries and coordinate internally for timely solutions.
Maintain proper records of shipments, documentation and customer communication.
Ensure compliance with company procedures and import documentation requirements.
Skills & Qualifications
Graduate in any discipline; relevant logistics qualification will be an advantage.
2–3 years of relevant experience in Sea Import / Freight Forwarding.
Good knowledge of Import Documentation and Shipment Coordination.
Strong customer handling and follow-up skills.
Positive coordination skills with shipping lines, CHA and other stakeholders.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
Good working knowledge of MS Office and Excel.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple shipments simultaneously.
