Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Finalization

• Oversee accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions in Tally

• Supervise bank reconciliations and maintenance of books of accounts

• Drive finalisation of accounts and preparation of financial statements

GST Compliance

• Timely preparation and filing of GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, and annual returns GSTR-9 / 9C

• Monthly ITC reconciliation with GSTR-2A/2B; follow up with vendors on mismatches

• Manage e-invoicing and e-way bill compliance

• Ensure correct GST treatment of credit/debit notes and reverse charge (RCM)

• Handle GST notices, departmental audits and assessments, including reconciliations and supporting documents

• Reconcile GST returns turnover with books of accounts

Income Tax & TDS

• Manage Income Tax compliance under the Income Tax Act, including advance tax

• TDS/TCS returns, challan payments, Form 16/16A, and reconciliation with 26AS/AIS

• Plan corporate and individual tax strategy, including tax implications of inter- and intra-company transactions





• Work with the Chartered Accountant (CA) for timely and accurate Income Tax filing for all group companies

Audit & Reporting

• Coordinate with statutory auditors, internal auditors and tax consultants

• Ensure compliance under the Companies Act and other regulatory filings

• Support management with financial reports, compliance updates and audit outcomes

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce, Accounting or Finance (CA Inter / CMA Inter preferred)

• Robust hands-on Tally skills; advanced MS Excel (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivots, reconciliations)

• Working knowledge of GST portal, e-invoice/e-way bill, TRACES and Income Tax portals

• Sound understanding of GST, Income Tax, TDS and Companies Act compliance

• Experience in finalisation of accounts and handling statutory and GST audits

• Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills and ability to meet deadlines
