Accounting Responsibilities:
· Maintain accurate books of accounts including ledgers, journals, and vouchers.
· Handle accounts payable and receivable; process supplier payments and customer collections.
· Prepare GST, TDS, and other tax filings as per statutory requirements.
· Assist in preparing financial reports such as P&L;, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
· Maintain records for audit purposes and support internal/external auditors.
· Monitor petty cash, bank reconciliations, and daily transaction entries.
· Cash Handling & Excel & Word Related Works (Quotation, PI etc.
· Complete Stock Entries
Stock Management Responsibilities:
· Monitor and maintain optimal stock levels across warehouses or branches.
· Oversee incoming and outgoing stock; ensure timely recording of inventory transactions.
· Conduct regular physical stock audits and reconcile with system data.
· Identify and report on slow-moving, damaged, or expired goods.
· Coordinate with procurement, sales, and dispatch teams to ensure availability and accuracy of stock.
Qualifications & Skills:
· Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Business Administration.
· 2+ years of combined experience in accounting and inventory management.
· Proficiency in Tally ERP accounting software.
· Knowledge of inventory management tools and barcode-based stock control systems.
· Strong understanding of GST, TDS, and other Indian tax compliance.
· Good analytical, organizational, and multitasking skills.
Ability to work independently and manage a team when required.
· Job Summary:
An inventory accountant is responsible for monitoring and recording all inventory transactions of a company. They ensure the accuracy of inventory numbers and identify discrepancies in a timely manner. The inventory accountant also conducts audits and prepares reports for management.

· Key Responsibilities
· Record all inventory transactions in the accounting system.
· Ensure the accuracy of inventory numbers by monitoring inventory levels, conducting regular audits and reconciliations, and correcting discrepancies.
· Prepare inventory reports for management, including inventory valuation, variance analysis, and cost of goods sold.
· Analyze inventory trends and identify opportunities for process improvement.
· Collaborate with other departments, including purchasing, manufacturing, and sales, to ensure accurate inventory forecasting and planning.
· Manage and report on all inventory-related expenses, such as freight and storage costs.
· Ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and company policies for inventory accounting.
· Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
· Minimum of two years of experience in inventory accounting.
· Familiarity with accounting software and inventory management systems.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
· Solid written and verbal communication skills.
