Video Editor — Tech Content Creator

About the Role

We are looking for a creative and highly skilled Video Editor who understands both video editing and technology. You’ll be working on high-quality content around the latest smartphones, gadgets, and consumer technology.

This role is ideal for someone who loves fast-paced, engaging content, understands social media trends, and can turn raw footage into visually compelling videos.

You will have access to the latest smartphones, gadgets, and tech products, and will be expected to research, understand, and creatively present them through video.

Key Responsibilities

- Edit short-form content for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and other social platforms.
- Edit long-form YouTube videos with strong storytelling, pacing, and retention.
- Create fast-paced, engaging edits with dynamic cuts, transitions, sound design, motion graphics, and effects.
- Work extensively with Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.
- Perform professional color correction and color grading.
- Create motion graphics, text animations, product animations, and visual effects where required.
- Understand the latest social media editing trends and adapt editing styles accordingly.
- Research smartphones, gadgets, processors, cameras, features, and other technology before editing content around them.
- Understand technical specifications and convert complex tech information into visually engaging content.
- Collaborate with the content and creative team to develop the visual style of videos.
- Organize project files, footage, assets, sound effects, music, and exports efficiently.
- Maintain consistency in visual quality, editing style, branding, and storytelling.

Must-Have Skills

- Advanced knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro
- Good to advanced knowledge of Adobe After Effects
- Strong understanding of short-form video editing
- Experience with long-form video editing




- Excellent understanding of fast-paced editing and retention-based storytelling
- Good knowledge of color correction and color grading
- Robust understanding of sound design, music, SFX, transitions, and pacing
- Good sense of framing, composition, timing, and visual storytelling
- Strong knowledge of smartphones and technology is mandatory
- Ability to research and understand new gadgets and their features quickly
- Good English communication and comprehension skills are important

Tech knowledge is not optional for this role.

You should genuinely enjoy smartphones and technology. You will regularly be given access to new devices and will need to research them, understand their features, and use that knowledge to create better edits and visual storytelling.

Portfolio/Reel is mandatory. Candidates should share previous short-form and/or long-form editing work.
