- Create and develop new knitwear designs as per market trends and buyer requirements.
- Prepare design sketches, tech packs, and sampling instructions.
- Coordinate and ensure timely sample development by getting samples prepared as per design specifications.
- Coordinate with merchandising and production teams for sample development and approvals.
- Select fabrics, colors, prints, and trims for new collections.
- Ensure designs meet quality standards and production feasibility.
- Work closely with production to ensure smooth execution from sampling to bulk production.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 year of experience in the garment/knitwear industry.
- Solid knowledge of fabrics, colors, and current fashion trends.
- Basic knowledge of design software.
- Creative mindset with good coordination and communication skills.
