Job SummaryWe are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Manager - Credit Bureau to oversee credit bureau operations, ensure accurate reporting, manage dispute resolution, and maintain compliance with internal policies and applicable regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of credit bureau processes, data accuracy, customer grievance handling, and team management.

Key Responsibilities·

- Strong experience in handling Credit Bureau disputes, including investigation, correction, and closure within defined TAT
- Experience working on OLM (Online Lending/Loan Management) or similar credit-data systems
- Experience with SFTP for credit-data/file submission and exchange
- Knowledge of Metro 2 reporting standards and credit-data submission formats
- Hands-on experience with any of the four Credit Bureau portals:
- TransUnion CIBIL
- Experian
- Equifax
- CRIF High Mar
- Manage day-to-day Credit Bureau operations and ensure smooth process delivery.
- Oversee accurate reporting and updating of customer credit information with relevant credit bureaus.
- Monitor credit bureau data quality, accuracy, completeness, and timely submission.
- Manage customer requests related to credit reports, corrections, disputes, and data discrepancies
- Ensure timely investigation and resolution of credit bureau disputes within defined TATs.
- Coordinate with internal teams such as Operations, Collections, Finance, Risk, Compliance, and Technology for issue resolution.
- Monitor and resolve discrepancies in customer account and credit data.
- Ensure adherence to internal SOPs, regulatory guidelines, and credit bureau reporting requirements.
- Maintain proper documentation and audit trails for all corrections, disputes, and resolutions.
- Track operational KPIs, TAT,



productivity, quality, and dispute-resolution performance.
- Prepare and present regular MIS and management reports.
- Analyse recurring data issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Lead, coach, and mentor the Credit Bureau operations team.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and ensure achievement of team targets.
- Handle escalated customer complaints and complex credit bureau cases.
- Work closely with compliance and risk teams during audits and regulatory reviews.
- Identify opportunities to automate and improve credit bureau reporting and dispute-management processes.

Eligibility·

- Graduate in any discipline; MBA/PGDM in Finance or Operations will be an added advantage.
- 5–8 years of relevant experience in Credit Bureau, Credit Operations, Banking, NBFC, FinTech, or Financial Services.
- Prior experience managing a Credit Bureau or credit reporting team is preferred.
- Strong understanding of credit data, dispute resolution, and reporting processes.
- Experience handling regulatory or compliance-related requirements will be an advantage.
