The Role
We are hiring a Zonal Sales Manager to lead sales growth and market expansion across South Kerala. Based in Kochi, you will manage the regional sales team, own targets and drive performance across distributors, retailers and key accounts.
Key Responsibilities
- Set, track and achieve regional sales targets.
- Lead, coach and monitor the field sales team.
- Strengthen distributor and dealer networks and build lasting trade relationships.
- Make regular market visits and track competitor activity and market trends.
- Plan and execute promotions and campaigns to boost product visibility.
- Share accurate sales forecasts and reports with senior management.
- Work closely with marketing, supply chain and service teams to ensure smooth execution.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in regional or zonal sales management in consumer electronics, home appliances, FMCG or a related industry.
- Strong skills in sales planning, territory management and channel development, with a record of meeting targets.
- Ability to lead and mentor a high-performing sales team.
- Sound market analysis and data-driven decision-making.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in CRM tools, MS Excel and reporting dashboards.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or a related field; an MBA is an advantage.
- Valuable knowledge of the Kerala market, fluency in Malayalam, and willingness to travel extensively within South Kerala.
