Job Overview

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented YouTube Video Editor & Motion Video Editor to join our creative team in Mumbai.

The ideal candidate should have strong video editing skills, a good understanding of YouTube content, and the ability to create engaging visual content using motion graphics, animations, transitions, and visual effects.

The role will involve editing long-form YouTube videos, short-form content, promotional videos, and motion-based visual content while maintaining consistency with the brand's visual style.

Key Responsibilities -

1. YouTube Video Editing

- Edit long-form YouTube videos, interviews, educational content, podcasts, and promotional videos.
- Create engaging intros, outros, transitions, titles, subtitles, and visual elements.
- Edit footage to improve pacing, storytelling, viewer engagement, and overall video quality.
- Add background music, sound effects, voiceovers, and other audio elements.
- Select and integrate relevant stock footage, images, graphics, and B-roll.
- Format and export videos according to YouTube requirements.
- Repurpose long-form content into YouTube Shorts and other social media formats.

1. Motion Graphics & Animation

- Create motion graphics, animated text, transitions, icons, illustrations, and visual effects.
- Develop engaging visual sequences for YouTube videos and digital campaigns.
- Animate logos, typography, charts, diagrams, and other graphic elements.




- Convert creative concepts and scripts into visually engaging video content.
- Maintain consistency in animation style, typography, branding, and visual language.

1. Creative & Production

- Understand video briefs, scripts, storyboards, and creative requirements.
- Collaborate with content writers, designers, social media executives, and marketing teams.
- Suggest creative improvements to enhance video quality and audience engagement.
- Manage multiple video projects while meeting deadlines.
- Organize and maintain project files, footage, assets, and editing workflows.
- Stay updated with YouTube, social media, video editing, and motion graphics trends.

Required Skills
- Solid knowledge of video editing and post-production.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Adobe After Effects is mandatory.
- Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator will be an advantage.
- Strong understanding of motion graphics, animation, transitions, and visual effects.
- Understanding of YouTube video formats and audience retention.
- Basic knowledge of audio editing and sound design.
- Strong sense of visual storytelling, composition, pacing, and timing.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and creative problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications




- 1–3 years of professional experience in video editing, motion graphics, or digital content production.
- Experience working on YouTube channels, digital media, advertising, marketing, or social media content.
- Experience editing interviews, podcasts, educational videos, corporate videos, or promotional content.
- Familiarity with current YouTube and social media video trends.
- Strong portfolio or showreel demonstrating video editing and motion graphics capabilities.

Portfolio Requirement Candidates must share a portfolio, showreel, or links to previously edited YouTube/video projects.

Candidates without relevant work samples may not be considered.

This is an office-based position. Candidates should be comfortable working from the office on a full-time basis.
