Role Description The Yoga Therapist will work full time on-site at the HAIR RAP BY YOYO salon in Ahmedabad, integrating therapeutic yoga practices into the overall client wellness experience. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting individual and small-group yoga sessions, designing customized programs to address stress, posture, and overall well-being, and guiding clients through breathing, relaxation, and mindfulness techniques.

The Yoga

Therapist will collaborate with the salon team to align yoga offerings with the holistic hairdressing philosophy and create a calming, supportive atmosphere for clients.



Additional responsibilities include maintaining a clean and safe practice space, tracking client progress, and educating clients on self-care practices that complement salon services. The role involves active participation in team discussions, occasional events or workshops, and a commitment to professional development in yoga therapy and wellness.

Qualifications

- Professional training and certification in yoga therapy or yoga instruction, with strong knowledge of anatomy, posture, and therapeutic applications of yoga.
- Experience designing and leading individualized and group yoga sessions focused on stress relief, relaxation, and holistic well-being.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and client-care skills, with the ability to build trust and maintain a welcoming, inclusive environment.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with creative and wellness-focused teams, aligning yoga programs with the salon’s holistic and artistic approach.
- Commitment to ongoing learning and staying current with yoga, mindfulness, and wellness practices; prior experience in a salon, spa, or wellness setting is an advantage.
- Capacity to work in office full time in Ahmedabad, manage schedules responsibly, and maintain professional standards of ethics and confidentiality.
