We are looking for a Yaskawa Robotic Engineer with strong hands-on experience in industrial robot installation, programming, commissioning, troubleshooting, and production line integration.

The primary responsibility of this role will be to install and commission Yaskawa industrial robots at customer/project sites, ensure proper robot operation, and support the team during production trials and line start-up.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform mechanical and electrical installation of Yaskawa industrial robots at project/client sites.
- Carry out robot setup, calibration, mastering, and commissioning.
- Perform robot programming, teaching, jogging, and point-to-point programming.
- Configure and verify robot coordinates, tools, work objects, jobs, and motion parameters.
- Conduct I/O interfacing and signal checking between robot, PLC, sensors, and other automation equipment.
- Support robot integration with welding, handling, assembly, conveyor, vision, or other automation systems.
- Execute dry runs, trial runs, cycle-time checks, and production commissioning.
- Identify and troubleshoot robot-related mechanical, electrical, programming, and communication issues.
- Diagnose alarms and perform corrective actions during commissioning and production.
- Coordinate with PLC, electrical, mechanical, and automation teams for successful line integration.
- Modify and optimize robot programs according to production requirements.
- Ensure proper robot safety configuration and follow required industrial safety procedures.
- Prepare basic commissioning reports, robot backup, program backup, and troubleshooting records.
- Provide on-site technical support and training to operators/technicians when required.
- Travel to customer/project locations as required for installation and commissioning activities.

Mandatory Technical Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with Yaskawa industrial robots.
- Practical experience in robot installation and commissioning.




- Knowledge of Yaskawa robot controller and teach pendant operation.
- Ability to perform robot teaching/programming and troubleshooting independently.
- Experience with robot mastering/calibration and tool/work-coordinate setup.
- Understanding of PLC I/O communication and automation interfaces.
- Ability to read basic electrical and mechanical drawings.
- Knowledge of industrial automation and production-line integration.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Experience
- Experience working on automotive, welding, material handling, assembly, or industrial automation projects.
- Experience in robotic welding applications will be an advantage.
- Experience with PLCs, sensors, VFDs, safety circuits, and industrial communication systems will be an advantage.
- Experience working at customer sites and handling project installation/start-up activities.

Candidate Profile We are specifically looking for a hands-on robotics skilled, not only a design or theoretical robotics engineer.

The candidate should be capable of independently handling:

Robot Installation → Robot Setup → Programming/Teaching → I/O Checking → Trial Run → Troubleshooting → Commissioning → Production Handover

Education

- Diploma / ITI / B.Tech / B.E. in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Robotics, or a related field.
- Relevant hands-on Yaskawa experience may be considered in place of formal qualifications.

Important Requirement Hands-on experience in Yaskawa robot installation and commissioning is mandatory. Candidates with only theoretical knowledge or design experience will not be preferred.

Immediate joiners are strongly preferred.
