We're hiring an XML & EPUB Specialist to join our content production team in Coimbatore. You'll work on Doc Book XML tagging and EPUB conversion/validation for digital and print publishing projects.
Responsibilities
- Create, edit, and validate XML content using Doc Book schema/DTD
- Build, QA, and validate EPUB (EPUB2/EPUB3) files per client specs
- Fix XML/EPUB validation errors (schema validation, EPUB Check)
- Use XSLT/CSS for output formatting
- Ensure accuracy, quality, and TAT compliance on assigned projects
Requirements
- 1–4 years' experience in Doc Book XML tagging/authoring
- Working knowledge of EPUB creation & validation (EPUB Check)
- Familiarity with XML editors (Oxygen XML or similar)
- Basic knowledge of XSLT, CSS, HTML
- Valuable attention to detail and team communication skills
Good to Have: DITA/JATS experience, EPUB accessibility knowledge, scripting (Python/Perl) Qualification: Any graduate/postgraduate degree
