Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and responsible X-Ray Technician to perform diagnostic radiographic procedures safely and efficiently. The technician will operate X-ray equipment, ensure proper patient positioning, maintain radiation safety standards, and assist the Radiology team in providing quality imaging services.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform X-ray examinations as per the physician/radiologist's request.
- Verify patient details and examination requirements before performing procedures.
- Explain the procedure to patients and ensure their comfort and safety.
- Properly position patients and select appropriate exposure factors to obtain quality images.
- Operate and maintain X-ray equipment safely and efficiently.
- Follow radiation safety protocols and use appropriate protective equipment.
- Ensure proper use of lead aprons, thyroid shields, and other radiation protection devices.
- Review images for technical quality and repeat examinations when clinically/technically necessary.
- Upload and manage images through PACS/RIS, where applicable.
- Maintain accurate records of examinations and daily imaging activities.
- Maintain cleanliness and basic operational readiness of the X-ray room and equipment.
- Immediately report equipment issues or abnormalities to the concerned supervisor/Biomedical Engineering team.
- Follow hospital policies, infection-control procedures, and departmental protocols.
- Coordinate with radiologists, doctors, nurses, and other hospital departments.




- Maintain patient confidentiality and professional conduct at all times.
- Assist during emergency and portable X-ray procedures, as required.

Educational Qualification
- Diploma / B.Sc. in Radiology, Medical Imaging Technology, X-Ray Technology, or equivalent qualification.
- Valid registration/licensing as applicable under relevant regulations.
- Candidates with relevant hospital experience will be preferred.

Required Skills
- Good knowledge of X-ray procedures and positioning techniques.
- Knowledge of radiation protection and safety standards.
- Basic knowledge of PACS/RIS and digital radiography.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a hospital environment.
- Attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
- Ability to handle emergency and high-workload situations.

Experience
- Freshers: Candidates with relevant qualification and internship/training can apply.
- Experienced: 1–3 years of experience in a hospital/radiology center will be an advantage.

Work Schedule The candidate should be willing to work in rotational shifts, including emergency duties, as required by the hospital. Preferred Candidate A professional, responsible, safety-conscious individual with good technical knowledge and the ability to work collaboratively with the Radiology and hospital teams.

Pay: ₹180,000.00 - ₹240,000.00 per year
